23. Solve the pair of linear equations:

2x + y = 7,   x − y = 1

24. Find the area of a triangle whose vertices are (1,1), (4,1) and (2,5).

25. Find the ratio in which the point (2, −2) divides the line joining A(4, −6) and B(−2, 2).

26. Find the radius of a sphere whose surface area is 616 cm².

27. Evaluate: sin 30° / cos 60°.

28. Find the mode of the data: 3, 5, 7, 5, 9, 5, 11.

29. Find the probability of getting a multiple of 3 from numbers 1 to 10.

30. Find the sum of first 30 natural numbers.

Section D – Long Answer

(4 × 5 = 20 Marks)

31. Find the HCF and LCM of 26 and 91 and verify that:
LCM × HCF = Product of the numbers.

32. Solve the quadratic equation by factorisation:
x² − 5x − 6 = 0.

33. Find the area of a sector of a circle of radius 14 cm and angle 90°.

34. Find the mean using step deviation method:
