The Music of English: Mastering Diphthongs & Flow in Speech
(శబ్దాల మాధుర్యం – డిప్థాంగ్స్ మరియు మాటలలో ప్రవాహం)
Introduction
Phonetics isn’t just about sounds — it’s about music in your speech.
When you master Diphthongs, your English gains rhythm, melody, and natural flow — just like native speakers of the UK or USA.
Telugu Explanation (with Phonetics):
డిప్థాంగ్స్ అంటే — ఒక vowel నుండి ఇంకో vowel కు సాఫ్ట్గా మారే శబ్దం (oka vowel nundi inkō vowel ku sāphṭ-gā mārē śabdam).
ఉదాహరణ: “time,” “boy,” “out” అనే పదాలలో మనం రెండు vowel sounds వింటాం.
What Are Diphthongs?
A Diphthong is a combination of two vowel sounds pronounced together in one syllable.
It gives words a “glide” — a smooth movement from one sound to another.
Telugu Phonetic:
డిప్థాంగ్ అంటే రెండు vowels కలిసి ఒక సిల్లబల్లో ఉంటాయి (reṇḍu vowels kalisi oka sillabal-lō uṇṭāyi).
